What we collect

Nothing. Guppy Gulp has no account system and no login. We do not ask for or receive your name, email address, phone number, location, contacts, photos, advertising identifier, or any other personal information. There is no screen in this app that sends anything to us.

Where your data lives

Everything the app knows about you, which is to say your drinks, your goal, your streak, your reef and your settings, is written to storage on your own device. None of it is uploaded. We operate no servers that hold it, and we have no technical means of reading it.

If your device backs itself up to iCloud, that backup may include this app’s data in the same way it includes data from every other app you have installed. That backup is a matter between you and Apple. We are not a party to it and we cannot reach into it.

Deleting your data

Because your data exists only on your phone, you can remove all of it at any time, without asking us and without waiting on us:

• Inside the app. Open the You tab and choose “Reset everything”. That clears your reef, your log and your progress immediately and permanently.
• Or delete the app. Everything goes with it.

Neither action can be undone, because no copy exists anywhere for us to restore from.

Purchases

Guppy Gulp offers a single purchase that unlocks the app permanently. Apple handles that transaction in full. We never see, receive or store your payment details. All the app ever learns is whether a valid purchase exists on your Apple Account, which Apple tells it.

Notifications

Reminders are scheduled locally by your own device. They are not push notifications. No server sends them, and no information leaves your phone in order to deliver one. You can switch them off in the app or in iOS Settings whenever you like.

Analytics, tracking and advertising

There are none. The app contains no analytics library, no advertising library, no crash reporter, and no tracking of any kind. We set no cookies, we build no profile of you, and we have nothing to sell to anybody, because we hold nothing.

Children

Guppy Gulp is suitable for a general audience and collects no data from anyone, children included. Nothing can be gathered from a child here, for the same reason nothing can be gathered from an adult.

Network access

The app works entirely offline. The only occasion on which it reaches the internet is to check for and download an update to the app itself, and that request carries no personal information.

Changes to this policy

If a future version of the app ever collects anything, we will update this page before that version ships, and we will say plainly here what changed. It will not be folded in quietly.
